RBX Codex
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
At RBX Codex we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use rbxcodex.com, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It covers this website, its contact form and the consultation scheduler.
01Who is responsible
RBX Codex, a software development studio run by Robert Adriel Cabrera, based in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. For any privacy matter, write to robertcabreramercado2008@gmail.com.
02What we collect
Only what you give us, plus the technical minimum the site needs to work:
- Contact form: name, email, company, phone, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Consultation scheduler: name, email, company, the topic you want to cover and the date and time you choose.
- Technical data: IP address and basic browser details, used to protect the forms from abuse and present in the server logs.
- Analytics: when enabled, Google Analytics collects aggregate data on which pages are visited, from what kind of device and how you reached the site.
- Preferences: your light or dark theme choice is stored in your own browser and never reaches us.
We do not ask for sensitive data or payment details through the site.
03What we use it for
- Replying to your message and following up on what you asked for.
- Booking your consultation, sending you the invitation with the video call link and preparing for it.
- Preparing a proposal if you decide to move forward with a project.
- Understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Protecting the site from spam and misuse.
We process your data because you give it to us when you write or book (your consent) and because we need it to handle your request before any contract. We do not sell it, we do not hand it over for advertising, and we will not send you newsletters unless you ask.
04Who we share it with
We use providers that process data on our behalf and only to deliver their service to us:
- Supabase: the database where we keep the messages and requests we receive.
- Resend: delivery of the email notification for each message.
- Google: Google Calendar and Google Meet for consultations (Google sends you the invitation when you book) and, when enabled, Google Analytics.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us there.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the site and keeps its technical logs.
Some of these providers process data outside the Dominican Republic, usually in the United States. We choose services with recognised security practices. We may also disclose data when a competent authority lawfully requires it.
05Use of Google API data
The consultation scheduler connects only to RBX Codex's own calendar, to check busy times and create the meeting. It does not access visitors' Google accounts or any other calendar. RBX Codex's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
06How long we keep it
We keep contact details for as long as the conversation lasts and up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless it becomes a business relationship, in which case we keep what that relationship and the law require. Analytics data is kept in aggregate under the Google Analytics settings. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
07Your rights
Under Dominican Republic Law No. 172-13 on personal data protection, and equivalent rules if you write from another country, you can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to robertcabreramercado2008@gmail.com and we will reply within a reasonable time, usually a few business days.
08Security
The site runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS), our service credentials live only on the server, and access to the messages we receive is protected by a password and two-factor authentication. No system is infallible, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
09Minors
The site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above. If the change is significant, we will say so visibly on the site.
